Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors who want to submit a manuscript must read the things below. If the manuscript does not match the stated requirements, there is a possibility that the manuscript will be returned.

  1. The title of the paper must be accurate, concise, informative, and easy to understand. The title describes the contents of the main article and not more than 15 words.
  2. The scope of the paper includes research on national standardization policies, development of standards, harmonization of standards, application of standards (accreditation, certification, testing, metrology, technical inspection, pre and post market supervision, socio-economic impacts, etc.), correctional standards, regulations technical, and aspects related to standardization.
  3. Written in Indonesian or English.
  4. Paper typed in 1,5 space on A4 paper, Cambria font 12, non-reciprocal, with a minimum number of 10 pages and a maximum of 20 pages, not exceeding 10,000 words (not including attachments and bibliography). Words used in 1 sentence are a maximum of 17 words.
  5. The author's name and the address of the agency are listed below the title.
  6. Abstracts are made in two languages (Indonesian and English), Indonesian does not exceed 250 words and English does not exceed 200 words. Placed before the introduction, for abstract English italicized (italic), with Cambria 10 font, with a space of 1 space.
  7. Keywords in two languages (Indonesian and English), placed below the abstract, consist of 3-5 words.
  8. The contents of the paper consist of a minimum introduction (background, problems and objectives), Literature Review, Research Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments, and Bibliography.
  9. The table is numbered consecutively, the title of the table is placed above it and consists of a maximum of 10 words. Table names start with uppercase letters (except for abbreviations or certain terms where the writing must use uppercase letters) and end with a period.
  10. The images are numbered sequentially, the title of the image is placed underneath it and consists of a maximum of 10 words. Names of images begin with uppercase letters (except for abbreviations or certain terms whose writing must use uppercase letters) and end with a period.
  11. Citations are written according to the guidelines for writing the Standardization Journal.
  12. References use at least 10 references, 80% refer to the last 10 years, and come from primary reference sources.
  13. The rules for writing a bibliography are carried out in accordance with the guidelines for writing the Standardization Journal using Mendeley's citation manager.
