Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the effect of production, land area, international pepper price, US dollar exchange rate on the volume of Indonesian pepper exports in the short term and long term. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series, from 1980 to 2020 (41 years). The analysis method used in this study is Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method using E-views 10 application. The results showed that in the short term production had a positive and insignificant effect on the volume of Indonesian pepper exports, in the long term production had a positive and significant effect on the volume of Indonesian pepper exports, in the short term and long term land area both had a positive and insignificant effect on the volume of Indonesian pepper exports, in the short term international pepper prices had a positive and insignificant effect on the volume of Indonesian pepper exports, in the long term international pepper price has a negative and significant effect on the volume of Indonesian pepper exports, in the short term the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect and in the long term the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect.
