Misinformasi, tantangan pandemi di era digital
Abstract
Pandemi COVID-19 adalah pandemi pertama di era modern. Sejak dideklarasikan sebagai pandemi oleh organisasi kesehatan dunia, informasi terkait COVID-19 memenuhi semua lini. Informasi yang berlebihan ini tidak hanya berisi konten yang valid namun juga misinformasi. Misinformasi ini semakin parah dengan adanya media sosial. Berbagai kerusakan sudah ditimbulkan oleh kesalahan informasi ini dari korban jiwa sampai pandemi yang berkepanjangan. Misinformasi semakin meningkat dengan penemuan vaksin COVID-19. Rendahnya angka vaksinasi di beberapa tempat membuat rencana eradikasi pandemi semakin sulit. Review ini merangkum kerusakan-kerusakan yang ditimbulkan oleh misinformasi dan juga saran-saran yang diberikan untuk mengatasi atau mengurangi misinformasi dalam pandemi di era digital.
