Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diseksi aorta, pada keadaan atipikal yang jarang, gejala dan pemeriksaan fisik yang atipikal dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan diagnosis dan dapat membawa risiko kematian yang lebih tinggi.
Tujuan: Kami melaporkan kasus diseksi aorta tipe A dengan gejala tidak spesifik dan pemeriksaan fisik normal.
Presentasi Kasus: Seorang wanita 48 tahun datang ke UGD dengan mual dan muntah, dengan riwayat hipertensi. Jantung, paru-paru, dan perut dalam kondisi fisik yang normal. Pemeriksaan fisik normal meskipun terdapat hipertensi. EKG, ekokardiografi, dan rontgen dada menunjukkan hasil yang abnormal. Terapi simtomatik dan obat hipertensi diberikan sebagai tindak lanjut. Pemeriksaan multislice computed tomography (MSCT) torakoabdominal dilakukan diikuti oleh pemeriksaan computed tomography (CT) koroner, yang mengungkapkan diseksi aorta.
Kesimpulan: Presentasi diseksi aorta dapat menyerupai gejala gastrointestinal dengan temuan hipertensi urgensi. Dokter memerlukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut jika ada faktor risiko dan hasil pemeriksaan abnormal yang diduga berhubungan dengan diseksi aorta.
