Author Guidelines

Manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through the Online Submission Module (OSM). Regardless of the source of the word-processing tool, only electronic PDF (.pdf) or Word (.doc, .docx, .rtf) files can be submitted through the OMS. There is no page limit. Only online submissions are accepted to facilitate rapid publication and minimize administrative costs. Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted. The submitting author takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review. If for some technical reason submission through the OMS is not possible, the author can contact mjmst@unimal.ac.id for support.

Terms of Submission

Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere and are not currently under consideration by another journal publisher. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all the other coauthors. It is also the authors’ responsibility to ensure that the articles emanating from a particular institution are submitted with the approval of the necessary institution. Only an acknowledgment from the editorial office officially establishes the date of receipt. Further correspondence and proofs will be sent to the author(s) before publication unless otherwise indicated. It is a condition of submission of a paper that the authors permit editing of the paper for readability. All inquiries concerning the publication of accepted papers should be addressed to:  mjmst@unimal.ac.id

Peer Review

All manuscripts are subject to peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. If approved by the editor, submissions will be considered by double-blind peer-reviewers, whose identities will remain anonymous to the authors. If your article is based on a conference article which may have been published elsewhere, it is important that you observe the following:

The submitted article must have been substantially revised, expanded and rewritten so that it is significantly different from the conference paper or presentation on which it is based. The article must be sufficiently different to make it a new, original work. As a guide, you should aim to have more than 50% new material. This is a matter of judgment and will be based on a comparison of the submitted article with the original conference paper.

The original conference article should be supplied by the author with the expanded article for the purpose of comparison. All such articles will be subject to the same review process as any other submitted article. Please include the statement 'This article is a revised and expanded version of a article entitled [title] presented at [name location and date of conference]' in the online system when you submit your article, using the "Notes for the Editor" field.

If the original conference article on which the extended article is based has been published elsewhere, or the copyright has been assigned to the conference organisers or another party, authors should ensure that they have cleared any necessary permissions with the copyright owners. Articles will not be accepted, post-review, for publication unless suchwritten permissions have been provided along with author copyright forms.

 Additional Information

Appeal Process:

As part of the quality improvement of the Journal, it is also important that the authors are given the highest importance within the system. If you are not happy with the overall recommendation from theEditor in Chief on your paper, you could appeal once against the decision. The process for appeal is:

1. Write an email to the Editor in Chief explaining the reasons of your unhappiness and that you would like to appeal. Email to: mjmst@unimal.ac.id and editor in chief: asnawi@unimal.ac.id

2. The Editor in Chief will send your paper and all the reviews + copy of his overall decision to the arbitrator.

3. The arbitrator will communicate his comments to the Editor in Chief, and if necessary, Editor in Chief will reconsider his decision on the paper. Editor in Chief will communicate the results of the Appeal to the author at the earliest. There is only one appeal possible for each paper.
