Author Guidelines

Please prepare your manuscript following the instructions for authors given below before submitting it online at below. Basically, the MSPR journal follows the author guidelines attached in here

Manuscripts submitted for publication in MSPR should be between 1,500 and 5,000 words or between 6 and 12 pages after formatted in journal templates including tables and figures. The abstract should maintain a maximum of 250 words.

PREPARATION

Before submitting your manuscript, Please read carefully the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Malikussaleh Social and Political Reviews (MSPR) must be

  1. Manuscript must be written in English.
  2. The length of submitted manuscript is at least 6 pages and no more than 12 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 12 pages.
  3. Use of a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Journal template before submitting to MSPR.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

1. Title. The title of the paper is maxed 10 words, concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible.
2. Abstract. The Abstract has a maximum 250 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes, and results, and the conclusions.

The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. In the abstract, references should be avoided, but if essential, then cite the author(s) and year(s). Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself.


3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure:

Introduction : In the introduction section, the researcher must write the background, gaps, and be accompanied by relevant research, problem formulation, and the novelty of this research.

Literature Review (optional) : Literature Review (optional): In this section the researcher must present a literature review as a theoretical basis, frame, or framework for a research concept, or a research workflow, accompanied by various relevant studies.

Methods :In the research method section, the researcher must write the research design, the type of research, the stages or study procedures, the data collection and analysis techniques, the work frame or research framework in a clear and detailed manner.

Results and Discussion : Results and Discussion: In this section the researcher must write down the results of the data analysis, both in tables, narratives, as well as figures, graphs, and also explain the data clearly and accurately. In addition, researchers must carefully discuss the results of research that answer research questions along with arguments and relevance to other / relevant research.

Conclusion :In this section the researcher must write down the conclusions of the research.

Reference style

Text: Citations in the text should follow the referencing style used by the American Psychological Association. You are referred to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Sixth Edition, ISBN 978-1-4338-0561-5, copies of which may be ordered from http://books.apa.org/books.cfm?id=4200067 or APA Order Dept., P.O.B. 2710, Hyattsville, MD 20784, USA or APA, 3 Henrietta Street, London, WC3E 8LU, UK.

List: references should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters 'a', 'b', 'c', etc., placed after the year of publication.

Expect a minimum of 30 references primarily with a minimum of 80% journal articles that have a reputation and are not more than 5 years old.

To make it easier to organize and set up the citation format, use reference management software such as mendelay, zotero, or EndNote. Follow the APA Style in the in-body citation.
