Malikussaleh Law Review (MLR)

Malikussaleh Law Review (MLR) is a peer-reviewed international journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Malikussaleh, Aceh, Indonesia. MLR is committed to advancing the scholarly study of law through high-quality, original research and critical analysis.

The journal publishes twice a year, in June and December, and is dedicated to providing a forum for intellectual exchange on contemporary legal issues from both local and global perspectives.

MLR focuses on a wide range of topics within law and socio-legal studies, encouraging interdisciplinary and comparative approaches. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, constitutional law, international law, human rights, criminal law, environmental law, Islamic law, corporate law, legal theory, and the relationship between law and society.

The journal welcomes submissions from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide, and aims to foster academic dialogue and innovation in legal research across different jurisdictions and legal traditions.

All articles are published in English and follow an open-access model, promoting the global dissemination of knowledge without financial or institutional barriers. MLR applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics, based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
