Perbedaan Self Determination Pada Remaja Panti Asuhan yang Brsekolah di Dalam Panti dan Remaja Panti Asuhan yang Bersekolah di Luar Panti

Abstract


This study aims to determine the difference in self-determination in orphanage adolescents who attend school inside the orphanage and orphanage adolescents who attend school outside the orphanage, this research method is quantitative with a comparative type. The subjects in this study amounted to one hundred and eighty-nine adolescents obtained based on the total sampling method. The self determination scale has sixteen valid items with a reliability of 0.860, the data analysis technique used is Mann Whitney with a significance value of 0.44 (p < 0.05), so it is known that there are differences in self determination in orphanage adolescents who attend school inside the orphanage and orphanage adolescents who attend school outside the orphanage. The results of this study state that there are differences in self determination between the two orphanage adolescents, and the majority of orphanage adolescents who go to school inside the orphanage have higher self determination compared to orphanage adolescents who go to school outside the orphanage.
