Abstract


Penyakit kardiovaskular masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia saat ini. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan angka kesakitan, kecacatan, dan beban sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Indikator utama penyakit kardiovaskular adalah kualitas hidup seseorang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan deteksi dini dan tindakan pencegahan terkait risiko penyakit kardiovaskular agar dapat dipelajari lebih lanjut, dipantau, dan diberikan intervensi yang tepat oleh tenaga kesehatan. Dalam upaya untuk mengendalikan faktor risiko tersebut, Asosiasi Jantung Amerika (American Heart Association) memberikan definisi kesehatan kardiovaskular yang ideal menggunakan 7 metrik yang disebut "Life's Simple 7", yang terdiri dari tidak merokok, berat badan (BB) yang sehat, aktivitas fisik yang cukup dan diet seimbang, serta mencapai nilai target untuk kolesterol, tekanan darah (TD), dan glukosa darah.
