Analisis Potensi Ekonomi Kreatif Provinsi Jawa Timur

Abstract


This study address to determine the basic sector, regional growth, dominant economic subsector and classification of economic potential in the creative economy sector of East Java Province in 2014-2016. Location quotient (LQ) analysis was used in this research. Another analysis are growth ratio model (MRP), overlay and classification typology as the analysis technique. Based on research results, the creative economy subsector which is the basic subsector or has a comparative advantage is the craft and culinary subsector. The creative economy subsector, which is a potential subsector based on the growth criteria for regional economic structure, is the architectural, culinary and advertising subsector. The creative economy subsector which is a potential or dominant subsector based on growth and contribution criteria is the culinary subsector. The creative economy subsector, which is classified as a developed and rapidly growing subsector, is the culinary subsector.
