Potensi Biji Dan Daun (Clitoria ternatea) Sebagai Larvasida Ulat kantung Metisa plana

Abstract


Bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea) termasuk famili fabaceae yang secara tradisional digunakan sebagai pewarna makanan dan minuman, herbal untuk berbagai penyakit pada manusia, dan banyak diteliti pengaruh larvasidanya terhadap nyamuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi biji dan daun C. ternatea sebagai larvasida.  Penggunaan pestisida nabati menjadi alternatif untuk mengurangi dampak kerusakan lingkungan akibat penggunaan pestisida kimia saat ini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia (ITSI). Penelitian menggunakan faktor pertama adalah C. ternatea terdiri dari 2 taraf perlakuan: biji dan daun.  Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi ekstrak C. ternatea dengan 7 taraf perlakuan: K0 negatif (tanpa perlakuan), K0 positif (pemberian acefat), K1=1%, K2=2%, K3=3%, K4=4%, dan K5=5%. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali dengan 28 kombinasi perlakuan.  Data dianalisi dengan uji F dan dilanjutkan uji jarak Duncan dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan ekstrak biji dan daun C. ternatea memberi pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap mortalitas M. plana. Konsentrasi yang efektif dalam penelitian ini dengan pemberian ekstrak biji yaitu pada konsentrasi K5 (5%) dan konsentrasi dengan pemberian esktrak daun pada konsentrasi K4 (4%).
