PROGRAM SENAM HIPERTENSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT PENDERITA HIPERTENSI (Hypertension Exercise Program to Improve the Health of Hypertensive Community Members)

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to conduct counseling and outreach about the application of Hypertension Gymnastics for the prevention and maintenance of physical fitness in Hypertension sufferers by doing Hypertension Gymnastics. The target of the program is all hypertension sufferers in the data prosperous village, totaling 23 elderly people. The method of providing counseling in the form of counseling, ice breaking and hypertension gymnastics demonstrations then evaluates through a comparison of blood pressure results before hypertension gymnastics and after carrying out hypertension gymnastics. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive patients after the application of hypertension exercise. It can be interpreted that hypertension sufferers are able to understand and calm down the hypertension exercise that has been demonstrated so that it is useful for hypertension sufferers in an effort to reduce blood pressure.
