A controlling information system is a system designed to control an object or an environment. The research yields an information system design controlling electronic device that can be done through a desktop application enabling users to control the electronic equipments connected to the system designed in this research. It also enables users to obtain information from the controlling environment by using censors attached to a system environment. This research uses an experimental method by studying literature and documents. The designed method uses OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method. The controlling information system uses signal conditioning circuit and arduino UNO as a part of hardware functioning to obtain data from the censor, send the signal to an actuator, and translate it between hardware and software. The programming languages of Java and C++ are used as the software to develop desktop based application.References
