Plagiarism Policy

Negotium: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi Bisnis strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and adhere to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and standard international publishing policies (e.g., Elsevier).
By submitting a manuscript to this journal, the author(s) guarantee that the work is entirely original and has not been published previously nor is under consideration for publication elsewhere. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. This includes:
  • Copying verbatim or paraphrasing substantial parts of another's paper without clear attribution and proper citation.
  • Claiming results, data, or concepts from other sources as the author's own work.
  • Self-plagiarism (Redundant Publication): Submitting the same research outcomes, translated works, or slightly modified versions of previously published papers.
Plagiarism Detection: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous similarity check using professional plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate) prior to the peer-review process. The overall similarity index must not exceed 20% (excluding quotes and bibliography).
Consequences: Manuscripts that exceed the acceptable similarity threshold will be immediately returned to the authors for revision or summarily rejected. If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the Editorial Board reserves the right to formally retract the article, issue a public notice of retraction, and notify the authors' affiliated institutions.
