Jurnal Mahasiswa Antropologi dan Sosiologi Indonesia (JuMASI) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Malikussaleh, Lhokseumawe, Aceh-Indonesia. The journal publishes articles from researchers and practitioners about new ideas and research findings in the field of service to the community (See Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal are published in January-June & July-December every year. This journal do not publish preliminary studies.

Specifically, the topics and scope that are published consist of:  1) Sociology, 2) Antrhopology, 3) Sociology of law, 4) Community development and social welfare, 5) Gender, masculinity studies, and feminism, 6) Environmental sociology, 7) Cyber/digital sociology, 8) Democracy, Citizenship and Social Movement, 9) Rural Ecology and Social Transformation, 10) Inclusion, Justice and Social Policy, 11) Conflict, Security and Sustainable Development, 12) Local Dynamics and GlobalizationLocal wisdom of Acehnese, particularly about conflict management and disaster studies, 13) Certain ethnic, arts and cultures of specific communities, 14) Belief systems, 15) Ecological studies and their relations with culture.Humanitarian studies in Aceh, as well as Indonesia and global, 15) The critical review should be concerned with the literature relating to anthropological studies.
