Article Processing Charges
All the articles that published in this journal are freely available online (open access). This journal only publishes online versions, not provide a commercial reprint service for the article published in all issue.
To make it possible, there is an article processing charge (APC) to cover the range of the publishing services that we provide. The charges are including the provision of online tools for editors and authors, article producing and journal website hosting, article abstracting and indexing services, and customer services.
During the submission and peer-review process, there are no charges. The APC is charged to the authors when their manuscript is editorially accepted or before the publication with the amount provided below.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) will be applied based on the type of paper below:
- Manuscripts whose authors are from Indonesia: free of charge.
- Manuscripts whose first author is an Indonesian undergraduate student (please attach student card): free of charge.
- Manuscripts whose all authors are from a country outside Indonesia: free of charge.
- Manuscripts whose authors collaborate from at least two different countries: free of charge.
- Manuscripts whose first author is affiliated with Universitas Malikussaleh: free of charge.
This fee to covers operations in running publishing process:
- Checking the article similarity by Turnitin, the final report will be sent to authors by request
- DOI registration and activation for each paper
- Review process service
- Standard Editing Service
- Layouting service according to standard journal template
- Full paper PDF file that can be directly downloaded
- Certificate of Publication
- Hosting archive and maintenance
- Indexing service of metadata
- The maximum standard manuscript is ten pages, if more than that, an additional fee will be charged.
Further information to make payments will be notified along with the status of their manuscript is editorially accepted. For foreign and Indonesian authors details are conveyed via Email.
Waiver or partial waiver of author fees may be decided by the editor in case of lack of funding, excessive length of the submitted manuscript or other reasonable reasons provided by the author during the submission.
The author should clearly declare that he asks for a waiver in the comments to the Editor box during their submission. A waiver is most likely to be denied if it is not asked in this stage. The waiver will have no effect to the review result.
