Plagiarism and Retraction Policy

Jurnal Akuntansi Malikussaleh (JAM) is committed to publishing original work and does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts are screened for textual similarity using a plagiarism-detection tool prior to being sent for peer review.

Manuscripts with an unacceptably high similarity index will be returned to the author for revision, or rejected outright if the level of similarity indicates a lack of original contribution. When plagiarism is suspected or identified, either before or after publication, the Editor-in-Chief reviews the case and determines the appropriate editorial action in accordance with Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Published articles found to contain plagiarism may be corrected or retracted.
