Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Akuntansi Malikussaleh (JAM) undergo an initial editorial screening by the editor to assess the manuscript's relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, and adherence to the author guidelines.

Manuscripts that pass this initial screening are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise in accounting and related fields. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, contribution to the field, and clarity of presentation, and provide a recommendation to the editor: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

The final decision is made by the editor based on the reviewers' recommendations. Authors are notified of the decision and, where applicable, are given the opportunity to revise and resubmit their manuscript.
