This study aims to examine the effect of the Unemployment Rate, Population and Local Original Income on Poverty in North Sumatra Province. This study uses a combination of cross-section and time series data in 8 cities in North Sumatra Province during 2010-2022. The data analysis method used is Panel Data Regression. The results of the study indicate that the unemployment rate partially has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in 8 cities in North Sumatra Province, while the population partially has a negative and significant effect on poverty in 8 cities in North Sumatra Province, and local original income partially has a negative and significant effect on poverty in 8 cities in North Sumatra Province. The results of the joint test show that the unemployment rate, population and local original income have a positive and significant effect on poverty in 8 cities in North Sumatra Province
