Kebijakan Penanganan Pandemi Covid-19 Pasca New Normal (Studi Pada Pemerintah Kecamatan Dewantara Kabupaten Aceh Utara)

Abstract

The increase in Covid19 cases in North Aceh District, namely Dewantara Subdistrict after the implementation of New Normal was due to the low level of compliance with health protocols, as normal life is regulated in Aceh Governor Regulation Number 51 of 2020 regarding the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic in Aceh Province. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of policies by the Government of Aceh in handling the Covid-19 pandemic after the implementation of the New Normal policy and to find out whether the implementation of policies related to the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic have had an impact on reducing Covid-19 cases. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The results of the study are: (1) Implementation of Aceh Governor Regulation Number 51 of 2020 regarding the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic after the New Normal policy in Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency, namely connecting with Edward III's theory and the focus that has been carried out and becomes an important criterion in implementing a policy , namely: communication, resources, disposition and; bureaucratic structure. (2) An increase in post-New Normal Covid-19 cases caused by the reactivation of the WFO (Work From Office) and other community activities by following health protocols, the government being responsive in reducing Covid-19 cases by tightening the Covid-19 protocol raids, and distributing mass masks with the help of TNI/POLRI. The government also appealed to agencies/companies in the Dewantara District area to follow the Covid-19 Health protocol guidelines. Entering the beginning of 2021, it was noted that there was a decrease in Covid-19 cases because people had adapted to the pandemic situation and also guarded themselves so as not to be infected with Covid-19, namely by participating in the Covid-19 vaccination program, also using masks when doing activities outside the home and doing independent quarantine before carrying out activities outside the home for those traveling internationally/locally.
