Abstract

Sosialisasi praktik dasar desain grafis dengan menggunakan aplikasi CorelDraw menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan visual para dosen Universitas Malikussaleh dalam mendukung efektivitas penyampaian materi pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan membekali dosen dengan kemampuan dasar desain grafis, yang diharapkan dapat menunjang penyajian materi secara lebih menarik dan profesional. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi dan praktik langsung, di mana peserta diperkenalkan pada antarmuka dan fitur dasar CorelDraw, seperti pengaturan layout, pembuatan objek, serta manipulasi warna dan teks. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar serta menggunakan fitur-fitur dasar dalam CorelDraw untuk mendesain media pembelajaran secara mandiri. Selain itu, respon peserta menunjukkan adanya antusiasme dan keinginan untuk lebih mendalami penggunaan desain grafis dalam aktivitas akademik. Dengan meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan ini, diharapkan dosen dapat mengimplementasikan desain grafis dalam materi ajar mereka, sehingga menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan efektif bagi mahasiswa.
