Pengaruh Job Insecurity Terhadap Turnover Intention Pada Generasi Z
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of job insecurity on turnover intention in generation Z working in startup companies in Bekasi City. The study used a quantitative method with a linear regression approach on 140 respondents aged 18–26 years who were selected through purposive sampling techniques. The results showed a significant positive relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention (r = 0.427; p < 0.001), with job insecurity explaining 51.6% of the variability in turnover intention. This finding indicates that the higher the level of job insecurity perceived, the greater the employee's intention to change jobs. Factors such as a dynamic work environment, the threat of layoffs, and uncertainty of promotion strengthen this relationship. This study highlights the importance of creating job stability to reduce turnover intention among generation Z.
