Pengaruh Work Life Balance Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pada Generasi Z

Abstract


Generation Z has unique characteristics, such as a preference for work flexibility and the importance of work-life balance. This study aims to determine the influence of work-life balance on job satisfaction among Generation Z working in startup companies in Bekasi City. This research uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling technique collected from 138 respondents aged 18–26 years. The research results show that work-life balance has a positive and significant influence of 44.3% on job satisfaction, with a high category of work-life balance and job satisfaction among the majority of respondents. Generation Z, who are able to manage their time well between work and personal life, tend to be more satisfied with their jobs, which impacts productivity and well-being. This research emphasizes the importance of implementing organizational policies that support work life balance to enhance employee job satisfaction, particularly for Generation Z.
