Abstract
Maqasid al-Shariah is a fundamental concept in Islamic economics aimed at achieving societal welfare through social justice and ethical transactions. This study explores the importance of implementing Maqasid al-Shariah in the development of Islamic financial products and their practical applications in the economy. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research analyzes various literature highlighting the relationship between Maqasid al-Shariah and sustainable economic development strategies. The findings indicate that the application of Maqasid al-Shariah principles not only promotes economic growth but also contributes to poverty alleviation and social justice. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need for collaboration between regulators and Islamic finance industry players to ensure that the products and services offered align with the objectives of Maqasid al-Shariah. These findings provide guidance for policymakers and practitioners in designing a financial system that is economically beneficial while adhering to Islamic values. This research is expected to offer new insights into the development of a sustainable and inclusive Islamic economy.
