Abstract

The Industrial Revival has brought about a significant transformation in the way businesses operate, and digitalization plays a vital role in this process. A key aspect of digital transformation is the effective use of data, which is often stored and managed in databases. This research aims to explore the role of databases in digital transformation in the industrial era. The research uses a qualitative approach, analyzing existing literature and conducting interviews with experts in the field. The results show that databases play a critical role in digital transformation, enabling organizations to collect, store and analyze large amounts of data to make informed decisions. The study also highlights the importance of database management systems, data analytics, and data security in ensuring the success of digital transformation initiatives.
