Abstract


Abstract todays globalization, the internet has many functions, one of which is purchasing product online. The purpose of this study is to see the espects and factors of self-control that cause housewives to make online purchases. The method used is descriptive qualitative involving five housewive subject in Peunaron District, interview and observation data colletion techniques. The data analysis technique used is Creswells thematic analysis. The result of this study describe self-control that has an influence on mothers in online shopping. The aspects are behavioral control, cognitive control, and decision control, as well as internal and external factors. The aspect of behavior control, the subject finds it difficult to refrain from shopping online, so that in one month the can buy up to seven times, the subject also feels happy when shopping online. Cognitive control, the subject processes information about the items he will buy. Decision control, the subject makes considederations before buying goods. The factors are internal factors, the goods purchased are not always useful. External factors, attractive offers and invitations from people around.Keywords: Housewives, Online shopping, Self-control
