Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the production factors on onion productivity; to analyze the influence of the price of production factors on the average costs of onion farming and also to analyze the level of efficiency in the onion farming. Data obtained from 41 of onion farming are determined by the census method, and analyzed with multiple linear and stochastic frontier analysis. The results showed that; only seed and N fertilizer are significantly influence on onion productivity; only the price of seed is significant on average costs; The results also showed that onion farming in the village of Cinta Dame has achieved a high technical efficiency but still low in price and economically.
