Peer Review Process
The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by the editor. It will be evaluated to determine whether it aligns with the Focus and Scope of the International Journal of Polymer and Plastics Technology (IJPLAST). Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's criteria will be rejected. Manuscripts that do align with the scope will undergo plagiarism checking before being forwarded to the peer review process.
International Journal of Polymer and Plastics Technology (IJPLAST) uses a double-blind peer review system, in which the manuscript is reviewed by two anonymous reviewers. The reviewers' comments and recommendations are sent anonymously to the authors for appropriate actions and responses. Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the assigned editor will evaluate the revised manuscript and make a decision: rejected, requires major revisions, requires minor revisions, or accepted.
The Editor-in-Chief of IJPLAST holds the final authority in deciding which manuscripts will be published in the journal. The review process typically takes approximately one month. For accepted manuscripts requiring minor revisions, authors are expected to submit the revised version within 15 days of receiving the editorial decision.
