Ekspolarasi Kepercayaan Diri Pada Mahasiswa Keluarga Miskin Dalam Melanjutkan Pendidikan

Abstract: In the current era of globalization, the interest of children from poor families to continue their education to the tertiary level is increasing. Poverty is often an obstacle, but this does not affect the enthusiasm of students to continue their education. The purpose of this study is to examine in depth the aspects of self-confidence in students from poor families in continuing their education and the factors that influence self-confidence. This research involved five subjects taken using the purposive sampling method. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach and using the data analysis method Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Natural science analysis attempts to understand something from the participant's and researcher's side. Research techniques use interviews and observation. Testing the validity of the data uses triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The results of this study indicate that the five subjects have self-confidence in continuing their education with self-confidence, optimism, objectivity, responsibility, rationality and reality. and education. Even though having economic limitations does not hinder the enthusiasm of students to continue their education to the tertiary level, because the higher the level of education attained, the more self-confidence will increase.
