Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

Submission of manuscripts must be made through the ONLINE SUBMISSION menu, or SUBMIT MANUSCRIPT menu. New authors must create an OJS account by registering as Author on the REGISTER menu, and if have ready account OJS, you can click LOGIN menu

Submissions are made after preparing the manuscript according to the minimum standards below. Please read and follow the manuscript minimum standards of the below.

Manuscript Minimum Standards
Before submitting the manuscript, please read and meet the minimum standard requirements of the manuscript below:

1. Manuscripts submitted to this journal have not been previously published, or are not being considered in another journal. (Don't double submit).
2. Manuscripts must use English, which is grammatically correct and in correct spelling.
3. Manuscripts must contain novelty, show gap analysis and have a minimum number of references is 40 with 80% referring to the journal.
4. Manuscripts must be prepared in template format and use reference management software, such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style.
5. The length of submitted paper is at least 6 pages and no more than 10 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 10 pages.
6. Make sure that the manuscript is prepared using the manuscript template format. DOWNLOAD template format.
7. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. (Don't submit PDF files).

B. Manuscript Structure

STANDARD PAPERS. Manuscripts provided in A4 paper, 10 pt of Book Antiqua, Line spacing: Single. List of Figure and Table located separately on the end of manuscipt. Original articles should not exceed 8000 words inclusive of all parts of the paper apart from online Supporting Information. To make it easier to adjust the font formatting, spacing, and margins, the author must use the template format. Click here for downloading the manuscript template.

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

Title Page

• A concise and informative title.
• A list of author names, affiliation(s), and e-mail addresses.
• The name, complete mailing address (including e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers) of the corresponding author.
• A running title not exceeding 45 characters.
• A word count of the entire paper broken down into summary, main text, acknowledgements, references, tables and figure legends.

Abstract. The abstract should outline the purpose of the paper and the main results, conclusions and recommendations, using clear, factual, numbered statements. Authors should follow a formula in which point 1 sets the context and need for the work; point 2 indicates the approach and methods used; the next 2-3 points outline the main results; and the last point identifies the wider implications and relevance of renewable energy.  The whole abstract should be readily understandable to all the Journal's readers and must not exceed 250 words.

Keywords. A list in alphabetical order not exceeding ten words or short phrases, separated with semi colons (;)

Introduction. State the reason for the work, the context, background, state of the art of the reserach, and of the aims research.

Methods. Methods. In this section the researcher must explain the type of research and research approach used, data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, research tools or instruments. Place of study, location and time. Explain in detail so that it can be understood by the reader.

Results and Discussions. State the results of experimental or modelling work, drawing attention to important details in tables and figures. Point out the importance of the results and place them in the context of previous studies and in relation to the application of the work.

Acknowledgements. If authors refer to themselves as recipients of assistance or funding, they should do so by their initials separated by points (e.g. I.J.E.V.S). Do not acknowledge Editors by name.

Conclusion

The main conclusions of the experimental work should be presented. The contribution of the work to the scientific community and its economic implications should be emphasized.

Citation to work by three or more authors should be abbreviated with the use of et al. (e.g. Budiyono et al., 2010). Citation to work by one or two authors should always give the author names in full. Work with the same first author and date should be coded by letters, e.g. Thompson et al., 1991a,b. Citations should be listed in chronological order in the text and be separated by a semi-colon, e.g. Balmford and Gaston, 1999; Royle et al., 2007.

All references must include DOI (Digital Object Identifier) at the end of th references. If there is no DOI for any reference, author may provide its URL/direct accessible web link for verification purpose. References without DOI or internet link are not acceptable.

References. Expect a minimum number of references is 40 with 80% referring to the journal.

The references in the Reference list should be in alphabetical order with the journal name unabbreviated.

PROCEDURE OF SUBMISSION

Manuscript Submission

Manuscript submission in this journal proceeds totally online and the author will be guided stepwise by the journal system through uploading the manuscript file. The manuscript submitted should be in Word document format that can be edited for the double-blind peer-review purpose. First Please DOWNLOAD a manuscript template HERE.

Reviewing of manuscripts

Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers. Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.

Revision of manuscripts

Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface (http://ojs.unimal.ac.id/index.php/ijevs). The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

After acceptance

Corresponding authors will receive an e-mail with a link to our online proofing system, allowing annotation and correction of proofs online. The environment is similar to MS Word: in addition to editing text, you can also comment on figures/tables and answer questions from the Copy Editor. It is important to ensure that all corrections are sent back to us in one communication. Please check carefully before replying, as inclusion of any subsequent corrections cannot be guaranteed. Proofreading is solely your responsibility.

   Sebelum mengirimkan naskah, harap membaca dan memenuhi persyaratan standar minimal naskah di bawah ini:

   1. Naskah yang diserahkan ke jurnal ini belum pernah diterbitkan sebelumnya, atau tidak sedang dipertimbangkan di jurnal lain. (Jangan kirim ganda).
   2. Naskah harus menggunakan bahasa Inggris, yang secara tata bahasa benar dan ejaan yang benar.
   3. Naskah harus mengandung novelty, tunjukkan gap analysis dan jumlah referensi minimal 40 dengan 80% mengacu pada jurnal.
   4. Naskah harus disiapkan dalam format template dan menggunakan perangkat lunak manajemen referensi, seperti Zotero, Mendeley, atau EndNote untuk manajemen dan pemformatan referensi, dan pilih gaya APA.
   5. Panjang kertas yang dikirimkan minimal 6 halaman dan tidak lebih dari 10 halaman. Editor akan dievaluasi jika makalah membutuhkan lebih dari 10 halaman.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain the following rights:

• Copyright, and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
• The right to use the substance of the article in future own works, including lectures and books,

5. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by other authors, the signatory of this form warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this agreement.

6. Termination

This agreement can be terminated by the author or IJEVS upon two months’ notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating party’s notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of IJEVS. 

7. Royalties

This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by IJEVS or its sublicensee.

8. Miscellaneous

IJEVS will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and IJEVS or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. IJEVS may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.
