The use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, such as Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, is permitted in manuscript preparation under strict conditions and limitations.

1. Permitted Uses

The use of GenAI tools is solely permitted for the following purposes:
  • Improving the manuscript’s language, grammar, spelling, and phrasing.
  • Enhancing the overall readability of the text.
  • Assisting with formatting.

2. Authorship Restriction (Ethical Obligation)

GenAI tools cannot be listed as an author or co-author. This is because GenAI tools cannot take responsibility for the integrity of the work or its originality.

3. Full Author Accountability

Authors are fully responsible for any content generated by AI. This accountability includes:
  • Checking any inaccuracies or errors generated by the AI.
  • Ensuring all sources cited are valid and accurate.

4. Disclosure Requirement

Any use of GenAI tools must be clearly disclosed in the Acknowledgements section of the manuscript.
