EVALUASI KUALITAS UDARA DAN KENYAMANAN TERMAL PADA RUANG KELAS PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Kualitas udara dan kenyamanan termal sangat penting dalam menyediakan lingkungan yang nyaman bagi siswa di dalam kelas. Di masa Pandemi Covid-19, sekolah bertanggung jawab untuk menyediakan lingkungan yang nyaman dan sehat bagi para siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SD IT) Nurul Ishlah, sebuah sekolah swasta yang terletak di Banda Aceh diukur untuk mengevaluasi konsentrasi CO2 sebagai indikator tingkat kualitas udara. Kenyamanan termal juga dievaluasi melalui Standar Suhu Efektif Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kadar konsentrasi CO2 masih dalam taraf yang dapat diterima yaitu lebih rendah dari 1000ppm. Namun, suhu efektif sebagian besar lebih tinggi dari kisaran kenyamanan. Hanya ada beberapa jam yang masuk ke kisaran hangat yang nyaman. Studi ini mengusulkan agar lebih banyak aliran udara yang masuk ke dalam kelas untuk menciptakan sensasi termal yang baik serta cara untuk menghilangkan bau dan mempertahankan tingkat CO2 dalam kisaran yang sehat.
