Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada usaha tani ubi kayu dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode pemilihan sampel terhadap 57 responden dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usaha tani ubi kayu dan efisiensi alokatif faktor-faktor produksi ubi kayu di Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fungsi produksi Cob Douglas dan metode penghitungan efisiensi alokatif. Variabel-variabel yang signifikan berpengaruh nyata secara statistik terhadap produksi ubi kayu adalah luas lahan, tenaga kerja dan bibit, sedangkan pupuk dan pestisida tidak berpengaruh nyata. Hasil perhitungan efisiensi alokatif menunjukkan bahwa variabel luas lahan, bibit dan tenaga kerja belum efisien secara alokatif sehingga perlu ditingkatkan lagi penggunaannya.
