ANALISIS PERMINTAAN DAGING SAPI PADA KONSUMEN RUMAHTANGGA DI KABUPATEN SIJUNJUNG

Abstract


The objective of this research was to determine: (1) The factors that influence the level of beef consumption in household consumer in Sijunjung Regency and (2) The elasticity value of beef consumption in household consumer in Sijunjung Regency. This research used econometrict approach by developing a model of demand function for beef comodity by using primary data, the data is cross section data. The number of samples are 100 households. The analysis is using the multiple regression equation. The estimating of model parameters is using ordinary least squares method. The results of the research showed that household demand in Sijunjung Regency for chicken beef agregately was influenced by the price of substitute good (chicken egg), household income, number of household members, housewives education, nutrition knowledge of housewives and housewives occupation. The value of  the elasticity of income is 0,00003 (inelastic). The variable of substitute good price that influence to beef consumption in Sijunjung District is the price of chicken egg with the value of cross price is 0,0298 (inelastic).
