Author Guidelines
Guidelines for manuscript preparation, presentation, and submission are as follows:
- Language. Every manuscript must be written in Indonesian or English. [1]
- Number of Pages. The maximum allowed number of pages for each article is 20 pages of a printed journal (including figures, tables, and bibliography).
- Review Process. The review process is a crucial factor in ensuring high article quality based on objectivity and standard of quality. Each article will be reviewed by at least two reviewers and the editorial board. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Eligibility Process. Based on the reviewers' assessment, the editorial board—with the approval of the peer reviewers—will make the final decision on whether the manuscript is accepted for publication or rejected. [1, 2]
- Manuscript Preparation.
- Content: The manuscript includes: title, author and co-author names, affiliations, corresponding address (including postal code), e-mail address, abstract (in Indonesian and English), keywords (no more than 5 words), introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgments, bibliography, pictures, tables, and legends. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Authorship: The main author is placed as the first author, and subsequent authors (co-authors) are listed as contributing authors in the manuscript writing.
- Correspondence: The corresponding author is marked with an asterisk and a lowercase letter (e.g., a,*) after the name. If there is only one author, the asterisk is not required. The correspondence e-mail address is written at the end of the postal/mailing address description. [1]
- Abstract: The abstract must not exceed 250 words for original articles and must not exceed 100 words for short communications/expert notes. The English abstract must be written in italics. The abstract is written in single spacing. [1, 2]

- Formatting: The manuscript must be written in double spacing on one side of A4 paper (210 x 297 mm). The page margins are: right margin (1.7 cm), left margin (1.7 cm), top margin (1.9 cm), and bottom margin (1.7 cm). The font used for all parts of the manuscript is Calibri.
- Font Sizes: The font sizes for each section of the manuscript are: title (13 and bold), authors (10 and bold), affiliations and correspondence address (8 and italic), abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments, bibliography headings (10 and bold), figures, tables, and legends (7 and bold), subheadings, keywords headings (italic), abstract content, keywords content, introduction content, materials and methods content, results content, discussion content, conclusion content, acknowledgments content, and bibliography content (9).
