Focus and Scope
Aceh Anthropological Journal (AAJ) welcomes empirical research findings as well as theoretical conceptual studies conducted from an anthropological perspective. The journal invites contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners interested in Anthropology.
Focus
The primary focus of AAJ is to deepen readers’ understanding of Indonesian culture, with particular emphasis on Acehnese culture, especially regarding disaster and conflict management grounded in local wisdom.
Scope
The scope of articles accepted for publication includes ethnographic and qualitative research on topics such as:

Local wisdom of the Acehnese people, particularly in conflict management and disaster studies
